Everybody enjoys a fun movie night. You invited your friends over to watch a favorite movie. You organized everything – got food, drinks, a comfortable big sofa for everybody to sit on.
The intro of the movie begins. You are excited to see what happens In this sequel and cannot wait for the movie to begin. You get comfortable.
But then you remember that you forgot your drink. You don’t want to miss the first scene so you run in the kitchen to get it as fast as possible.
You get it and start to run back to the living room. And then… a sneaky slippery rug appears. You know what happens next…
The point of this scenario isn’t to show you how forgetful or reckless you are. Its goal is to show you that mistakes happen but they can be fixed.
People are clumsy. They don’t pay attention when they are having fun at parties or when they are doing something important.
That’s normal. We can’t be full of anxiety while trying to protect everything around us at all cost. The immense agony of stain cleaning can make us go crazy.
When our clothes get dirty, it’s easy to make them clean again – we throw them in the washing machine or dry clean them. And almost always the results are satisfying.
The carpets in our home can get a much bigger beating than our clothes. We step on them, we drench them with wine, juice, alcohol and all sorts of other liquids. Sometimes our pets get too bold and decide to relieve themselves on the floor.
Yes, sometimes if we are as fast as the moviegoer from the beginning, we can get what we have at home and try to remove the stains by ourselves.
We are not going to lie to you – it is possible to clean the carpets with the detergents you have near at hand. But that only works in particular situations.
If you don’t act fast the chances of removing a stain are lower. Some stains are like a stamp on your carpet – it seems impossible to remove them.
